66 Sloane Street

Raising the roof on restoration.

– 66 Sloane Street, SW3
– Phases 1
– Value: £650,000

Situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Sloane Street stretches from Knightsbridge in the north to Sloane Square at the southern end. It is synonymous with the world’s most iconic luxury brands and their flagship stores.

66 Sloane Street is an equally iconic and elegant building made of highly decorative brickwork and terracotta as well as ornate copper features and its distinctive spire. Our task was to replace the entire lead and copper roof and then restore the external fabric of the building. We worked hand in glove with copper specialists and artisans to complete this meticulous task over a period of 8-months, making sure we preserved the roof’s original detail and the intricate beauty of the copper spire. The building now sits proudly amongst its globally famous neighbours.

“Rosewood’s expertise and care in restoring historic and listed buildings is second to none and their proactive interaction with our leaseholders, tenants and retailers is extremely important when completing major works. I find their approach to be professional at all times, and the quality of work to the highest of standards.”
