UCLH Chapel Dome

Restoring an original Chapel Dome.

– UCL Hospital, London, WC1H.
– Phase 1
– Value: £275,000

The Grade II Listed Chapel in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Central London.

Externally, we completed the overhaul and partial replacement of the ornate curved glass and timber dome and leadwork, in both Code’s 8 and 9. Internally, Rosewood, removed the Stained Glass, overhauled and repaired off site prior to reinstatement, the repair of their oak riven lath, plaster ceiling, ornamental plastering to the Corinthian capitals and the reinstatement of the organ. A complex logistical challenge within a fully operational hospital.
