French Consulate

Mettre les points sur les ‘i’.

– The French Consulate, London, SW7.
– Phases 1 & 2
– Value: £2.6m

We were employed by the French Government to securely and efficiently perform both external restoration work and internal re-decoration to the French Consulate building in central London. The project involved the re-running of stucco moulds and cornices with horse moulds, new lead and Penrhyn Welsh slate roofs throughout the building as well as external joinery and decorations. We were also asked to complete ornate plaster repairs and redecorate the Consulate’s historic ballroom. We have also been recently commissioned to complete internal decorations within the French Embassy building in Knightsbridge. Attention to detail was the order of the day or as the French would say “to put the dots on the ‘I’.”
