UCLH Chaplain’s Office

Restoration of one of London’s busiest hospital Chaplaincies.

– UCLH Chaplain’s Office, London, NW1.
– Phase 1
– Value: £50,000

We were commissioned to restore a working Grade II listed chaplain’s office in one of London’s busiest hospitals, UCLH. The project involved our Special Works team to carry out the ornate work including the removal of a failed ceiling, installation of Oak Riven Lath and new lime plaster ceiling and the removal and installation of new lime plaster cornice, dentils and coving.

One of the main challenges of the project was to carry out the restoration whilst making sure the Chaplaincy team experienced minimal disruption to their day-to-day work.

“The team at Rosewood undertook historic building repair works to the highest of standards. Their knowledge and experience of working on historic buildings was of enormous benefit before and during the programme. Thank you to all the team at Rosewood and we look forward to working with you again soon.”
