John worked in private consultancy for several West End surveying practices until he joined Rosewood as a Director in 1996, shortly after its formation. As Managing Director for the past 11 years, John has led the company to consistently deliver an exceptional quality of finish whilst maintaining a high level of client service in the niche facade conservation and restoration field. John was elected a member of the Building Surveying Professional Group within the RICS in 1989 and has constantly worked on prime central London estates. He brings a wealth of experience and solutions to everyday building matters.

Eddie has worked in the construction industry for the past 30 years, joining Rosewood in 2003. By trade, he is a City and Guilds qualified plasterer. After four years in site management, Eddie was promoted to the role of Logistics Manager, which involved working between Rosewood’s project sites and the office. Eddie’s responsibilities currently include the hire and management of labour, the organising and delivery of materials to site, overall responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of Rosewood's health and safety policy on site and the programming of Rosewood's yearly workload. Eddie’s organisational skills and commitment to the company have been a major factor in Rosewood’s development and he has therefore recently been promoted to Logistics Director.

Nick has worked in the industry for over 14 years, starting as a foreman in high end residential developments whilst completing his BSc (Hons) degree in Construction Management. For the last eight years Nick has worked solely in the restoration and conservation field in London, with a strong passion for the industry and the materials used. Having worked on the Parliamentary Estate, numerous government buildings and embassies, railway stations, theatres and national monuments, Nick brings a range of experience to each project.

Theresa has worked in the building industry for over 25 years and with Rosewood since November 1998. She began her career as a design and build contractor in Hertfordshire. Theresa completed a practical experience route to her professional qualifications while working and attending college. She obtained her membership to the Chartered Institute of Builders (MCIOB) in July 1998. Theresa has worked on a number of different projects from schools, government buildings, high specification refurbishments and external restorations.

Terry has over 36 years of experience within the construction industry. Commencing his working life as a plasterer, he has risen through the ranks to be an experienced contract manager. Terry’s main expertise lies in the field of restoration and installation of external facades. Terry has a strong practical knowledge of various types of natural stone, coloured renders, external panelling and rain-screen systems. He holds a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate along with a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Black Contract Manager’s Accreditation Card.

Jim has been with Rosewood for 20 years in a site management role. Jim’s 30 years in the industry have provided him with a wide range of experience, including internal and external work on listed and historic buildings, high-end residential buildings, hotels and offices. In the last two years, Jim has moved into a clerk of works role, where he is in charge of quality control and day-to-day problem solving on all sites with site managers and clients. With Rosewood, he has undergone training including SMSTS, Scaffold Awareness, Mobile Tower, Sika Decothane quality assurance and first aid. Jim continues to develop quality assured systems to ensure we are always progressing on site.

Mary has worked with Rosewood for the past 14 years as our Financial Controller, having previously worked in the commercial financial sector. Mary is a key part of our team and carries out the preparation of operating budgets, oversight of financial reporting and the performance of essential operational duties including payroll.

Anita joined the Rosewood team in June 2015 after a number of years teaching in further education.  Anita is a key part of Rosewood’s day-to-day operations, working closely with the company directors, contract managers, the Financial Controller, quality and site managers. She provides business support in relation to human resources, office management, health and safety and finance.

Ron has been with Rosewood for over 18 years and brings a wealth of experience in the masonry and external cleaning fields. Ron has managed a variety of projects in the past, most notably the £1.4m external restoration of the Albert Hall Mansions.

Lester joined Rosewood in 2006 and has gone on to complete many of our most complex and challenging projects. With his vast experience of roofing and masonry, Lester has recently completed the £850,000 terracotta cleaning and replacement works at 64 – 70 South Audley Street and the £875,000 installation of a roof at The Pryors in Hampstead.

Dean is our longest serving member of staff having joined Rosewood in the year of inception, 1995. Dean’s strengths lay in running large sites with extensive and detailed joinery and decorations. Dean is currently completing a £700,000 project at Portman Mansions, which includes significant sandstone repairs to failing balconies, bespoke leaded window-work and decorations throughout.

John has carried out a significant amount of highly complex work with Rosewood over the last 18 years. These have included the installation of two bridges, over 20m high and spanning 10m across light wells, at Sandwich House and most recently the £1.1m conservation project at 9 Wilbraham Place. John has also been an important factor in the development of our apprentices, bringing through a number of key on-site staff.

Tony joined Rosewood as a decorator in 2003 and was quickly promoted to foreman, running a team of decorators. Over the last 3 years Tony has risen to the challenges put in front of him and is now running projects in a site management role. Tony’s strong interest in the restoration field has allowed him to develop quickly and take on more complex projects.

Michael has worked with Rosewood for over 10 years and is often tasked with carrying out some of our most demanding programmes. Michael’s skillset lies within the joinery and decoration field, in which he has over 25 years’ experience. He has recently completed projects at Campden Hill Gate and the London residence of Lord Salisbury under significant time pressure.

Sam is a great example of Rosewood’s focus on the development of youth. Sam has a background in masonry and, having worked with Lester Bishop for the last 4 years, has moved seamlessly into site management. Sam’s knowledge and man management skills in both residential and commercial projects are allowing him to take on larger projects each year.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in multi-trade disciplines, providing him with extensive all round knowledge of the building industry. Trained as a decorator, Steve is also highly skilled in the completion of wood care repairs and the installation of heritage cast iron works. Steve recently completed the installation of a new roof and full conservation of The Globe Tavern within the heart of London’s historic Borough Market.

Simon is a Master Bricklayer by trade and is currently completing the Stonemasonry Apprenticeship Course at the Building Craft College. Simon is one of our most experienced site managers and tradesmen, which allows him to impart his knowledge to many of our younger generation ensuring the highest of standards are maintained at all levels of masonry.

Michael has worked up from one of our key decorating foremen to a site management role over the last 18 months. He has carried out a number of high profile projects in Onslow Square and is currently completing the restoration and part-replacement of a steel frame to the penthouse at Whiteland House, including all subsidiary masonry and decorations.

Pat joined Rosewood in early 2016 with a strong building background, ranging from groundworks to turn-key construction. Pat’s extensive knowledge across all details of construction has enabled us to retain key contracts with long-standing clients. This includes the current £1.2m contract he is managing, involving the construction of a penthouse and the completion of external restoration works for a charity in Earls Court.
